Software Engineer
I'm a third-year computer science student seeking opportunities in the realm of software development and engineering. I am a part of the University of Chicago class of 2024 pursuing a B.S. in Computer Science. My primary interests include algorithm design and data analytics, and the list continues to expand as my breadth of experience increases.
I’m hardworking, dedicated, and I perform well in groups. I have experience in many different programming languages, and posses a wide variety of technical skills. Here are a few highlights:
I have over 4 years of experience programming with C and C++, spanning both personal and university group projects. Some of the things that I’ve worked on include custom game engines, shell scripts, and graphics rendering using Vulkan and GLFW libraries.
I have 3 years of JavaScript experience covering software and web design. My personal projects include both this website as well as several application plugins. I also have professional experience from my time at Language Amigo, performing both web development and database management using a Node.js framework.
Over the past 6 years, I have had an extensive amount of exposure to Java, both through coursework as well as an assortment of plugins and projects that I have pushed to the Oracle Java Cloud Network.
Python is my most newly acquirred programming language, which I have primarily used over the last 2 years in expanding my knowledge of machine learning. I have also used Python for a few personal web scraping projects.
SQL has often been relevant to any of my projects involving large scale database management, giving me plenty of opportunity to use it during my time at LanguageAmigo, as well as with managing passwords and user information for my app at After School Matters.
I’m always interested in new software engineering and design projects. If you think I would be a good fit, you can find my contact information below.
A summary of my previous educational and work experience
During Summer of 2021, I worked at Language Amigo, a tech startup focused on connecting university Spanish students with real-world Spanish speakers to help rapidly increase language proficiency. My technical skills served to develop database and finance management automations using JavaScript with a Node.js framework.
My experience with After School Matters served to expose me to a wide variety of topics within the technology sphere, including robotics and mobile app development. In my last 6 months with the program, I was serving as an assistant instructor to one of their app development courses where I helped to teach web design and JavaScript with React libraries

Check out some of the things that I've worked on!
A small game made using Unity and programmed in C# meant to educate students about the basics of logic gates in Quantum computing through a fun and hands-on experience.
A C-based text adventure game engine made as a large-scale multiyear group project with the other members of a software development course.
